Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Vector Coding is a kind of precoding scheme by using singular value decomposition of the channel matrix in the time domain. VC is also considered as a kind of CDM whose spreading codes are eigen-vectors of the channel matrix. Same as an eigen-mode transmission used in MIMO system, the interferece between transmission signals are avoided because the channel is orthogonalized. On the other hand, OFDM utilizes the frequency orthogonality and has already been used in practial wireless systems such as Wireless LAN. In this report, the performances of both Vector Coding and OFDM are evaluated. Vector Coding requres precoding in the transmistter and will require certain complexity compared with OFDM. However, the performances of Vector Coding is better than those of OFDM at some conditions.
