Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a game-theoretic relay assignment scheme for cooperative relaying systems is proposed to achieve both high spectral efficiency and fairness among users. Cooperative relaying is able to enhance the performance of wireless systems by exploiting the spatial diversity made available through relay stations that forward data toward a destination. The performance improvement due to cooperative relaying increases along with the number of relay stations. On the other hand, there is a relay assignment problem in cooperative relaying systems, when the relay stations cannot simultaneously forward data from multiple transmitting stations. Computer simulation results show that the proposed scheme provides a sub-optimal assignment with low complexity and a good tradeoff between the spectral efficiency and fairness.
