Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A design of preamble synchronization for the 60GHz wireless personal area network (WPAN) system and its performance are presented in this paper. Golay sequences are employed as the preamble synchronization sequences to simplify its synchronizer. False alarm and miss detection probabilities are evaluated for the preamble design by computer simulation. The simulation results indicate that the 18 repetitions of Golay sequence with 128 symbols are required for satisfying the requirement of common rate which is defined by the 60GHz WPAN system, and that 2 repetitions of Golay sequence with 128 symbols are required for satisfying that of mandatory low rate.
