Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We consider an image matching method based on the phase information of intensity gradient binary images. The intensity gradient binary image consists of the signs of gradient that is the difference between two intensity values at arbitrary points. In this paper, an intensity gradient binary image generated by adjacent pixels on images is used for phase-based correlation. Through some simulations, we confirm that the image matching method using intensity gradient binary images can robustly estimate the translation value between images with noise.
