Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To miniaturize thin types of printed antennas, a small-sized cross meander line antenna was developed. This antenna consists of two meander-lines etched on both surfaces of a dielectric substrate, the line pattern on one surface being perpendicular to that on the opposite surface. To make a matching between the antenna and a coplanar line feeder, the end of meander line was overlapped with a ground plane of the coplanar line. According to the analyzed results, the return loss of this antenna was 17dB and the antenna gain was larger than -30dBi at a center frequency of 298MHz. The size of this antenna was 10mm×14mm×0.2mm and it was considerably small and thin.
