Abstract(in English) | This paper treats a design method of dual-band/broadband hybrids using composite right-/left-handed transmission lines (CRLH-TLs). For branch-line hybrids, dual-band compact hybrids can be obtained by utilizing a phase lead of CRLH-TL. Furthermore, rat-race hybrids composed of three -90-degree arms and a 90-degree arm have been proposed, and broadband characteristics of about 53 percent can be obtained. Verification of this design procedure is also shown by EM-simulation and experiments. |
