Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this paper, to analyze the performance of the packet compensation protocol with slot selection. The slot selection means that the user who transmits the packet divides the transmission frame into N_s slots and selects a slot at random. The push-type packet compensation protocol is that each user autonomously transmits the received data to neighbor users N_c times for compensating a loss packet. The push-type packet compensation protocol has high immediacy but the users who transmit the packet cannot know other users succeed or failed. When the number of users in the user's network are large, the performance of the packet compensation protocol deteriorates by packet collision. Authors evaluate the average packet acquisition time of the push-type packet compensation with slot selection by theoretical analysis and simulation. As the results, the push-type packet compensation protocol with slot selection can keep the average packet acquisition time is short.
