Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Japanese Government decided to deploy on-line medical claims from medical supplier to insurers from 2011. On-line claim analysis is expected to be applied into support for field studies and public policy making in medicine. However, medical claims include many private sensitive informations, which arouses privacy protection issues in public. This study reports current status of Japan in view of privacy protection during medical information exchange.
