Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The reading performance of UHF RFID interrogators are usually evaluated by actually reading a number of RF tags. Such reading experiment entails experimental burden. Securing the repeatability of the experiment is also difficult because of the fading environment. The authors have been developing a multiple RF tags emulator to mitigate the problem on the reading performance evaluation. In this paper, the algorithms for the tag emulation has been studied. We have devised essentially two types of tag emulation algorithms. One features fast computation and the other features accurate emulation. We have implemented and evaluated the two algorithm to a battery assisted passive tag, which houses 8bit micro controller. It was revealed that the fast computing algorithm can achieve 36 tags emulation and the accurate algorithm achieves 6 tags emulation by optimally tuning the computation algorithm.
