Abstract(in English) | The zero forcing (ZF) and minimum mean squared error (MMSE) equalization have been proposed for an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. However ZF equalization have disadvantages to be difficult to equalize the channel in a low signal to noise ratio (SNR) environment. On the other hand, MMSE equalization have a potential to estimate the channel accurately in a low SNR environment. However, MMSE equalization requires to estimate SNR exactly. In addition, a cognitive radio system that is automatically able to compose the optimal communication system according to a channel needs SNR estimation. In this paper, we propose the SNR estimation based on a noise estimation scheme with a null sub-carrier. |
