Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper summarizes research and development results of the project on elemental technologies for cognitive radio terminal. The project has been funded by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications from Dec. 2005 to March 2008. This paper especially focuses on the research results such as (1) multiband and tunable devices (antenna, amplifier, filter, and direct up-and-down conversion mixer) that works over 400MHz-6GHz, (2) hardware platform that consists of the developed devices, and (3) software platform that works on the hardware platform and has functions of sensing, learning, and decision making by using sensing information and/or information from network resource (or reconfiguration) manager.
