Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Power consumption of a cryptographic hardware may convey information on the security parameters inside the module. So far the measurement points taken by the power analysis attacks have been the power lines. However other possibilities should be examined for secure design of cryptographic modules. This paper shows that signal lines can be the alternative measurement points effective for power analysis attacks. This result is based on experiments on some FPGA implemented AES implementations.
