Secure Data Sharing in Mobile Environments

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an approach for sharing data securely on mobile terminals with members of a particular group. In mobile environments, there are several threats to be coped with, including leaks of confidential data in a mobile phone, the loss of significant and confidential data, and information leaks caused by malicious or erroneous behavior of management staff on the network side. To avoid the data being compromised due to loss or theft, this approach prevents data leaks, while allowing the correct group members to recover the data to a new mobile terminal thanks to cooperation between a mobile terminal and a network server. This paper confirms the possibility of the approach through the prototype implementation onto a mobile phone. The proposed approach shows the possibility in mobile environments.
