Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors are developing moisture durable optical devices using gelatine which has amino acid sequence like adherence protein of blue sea mussel. Peel strength of the gelatine was well maintained while currently used optical adhesives, epotec 353ND, was deteriorated after 250hrs under 85℃-85% aging condition. On the other hand gelatine has a tendency to liquate out under high temperature and high humidity. We have improved it by adding shell meal to gelatine. Especially, the smaple added shell meal of common fresh water clam maintained the strength well. By the analysis of EDS for various shell meals, common fresh water clam included small amount of sulfur. We have tried to increase moisture durability by the cross-linking effect of sulfur adding to gelatine.
