Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes the taxonomy of pedestrian navigation systems using contactless-ICs and proposes the MI WyNE Box that provides intuitive pedestrian navigation environments by using the free area of the contactless-ICs on the mobile phone terminals as human-machines interface (HMI). The MI WyNE Box obtains navigation information by not the links between tag-IDs and destination information like the conventional systems, but the destination information recorded on the free area of the contactless-ICs. Then, we develop the MI WyNE Box and check system operation. Consequently, we make clear potential of MI WyNE Box that provides the pedestrian WYSIWYAS navigation environments.
