Abstract(in English) It is becoming general for operators to perform machine safety measure based on the risk reduction process. In the safety measure, the risk assessment is executed first and then the risk reduction measure is processed based on the assessment result. So, the quality of the assessment is very important for the safety measure. However, as the quality varies easily by assessor's ability, it is very important to enhance assessor's abilities. In this paper, based on accidents analyses, we explain the necessity of knowledge management system in order to maintain knowledge concerning safety which professional safety has. Then it proposes the safety management system utilizing ICT as a solution of the above-mentioned problem.
