Abstract(in English) The optical wireless access transmitter popularly uses distributed LED beam. However, there are several problems, such as limited modulation speed, communication distance and number of user access. We proposed LD-array based optical wireless system named optical micro-cell system (OMS) which uses VCSEL-array, which is applicable for high-speed modulation multi-user accessibility and narrow beam diversity. The transmission speed and distance of optical wireless access can be improved using LD. However, these collimating optical beam systems usually require complex control mechanism to maintain the multiple face to face optical beam communications when the users move. We produced receiver-transmitter terminals for optical micro-cell beams system which can access to flexible communication for moving users without this complex mechanics.
