Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose and discuss context virtualization techniques on a dynamically reconfigurable hardware which executes a large scale application that is beyond its hardware resources. Our techniques are based on a context grouping method which makes some context groups with context transition locality to reduce the number of context replacement by replacing contexts in units of such context group. Evaluation results on DRP (Dynamically Reconfigurable Processor) architecture which is one of the dynamically reconfigurable hardware shows that our techniques reduce the execution overhead nearly equal to the one of using a fully associative cache control method which is close to the ideal context replacing.
