Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Computer systems which have reconfigurable devices like FPGAs as programmable resources have been researched. These RC systems have capability to execute HW/SW codesign programs efficiently. We have been researching OS function for the RC systems. In this paper, we propose to provide multitasking environment and easiness of writing program by using RC-OS server which manages multiple FPGAs on the target system. The RC-OS server has OS functions which support task control, resource management, communication control and program interface. We implement the RC-OS server on the prototype hardware and evaluate its communication speed and overhead. |
