Abstract(in English) Diffusion models are frequently and widely applied for performance evaluation of recently developed computer communication networks. This is because the queueing models (Markovian models) are becoming hard to solve analytically and numerically due to a huge number of states in these networks. However, diffusion parameters appearing the diffusion equation is not straightforward. Indeed, in almost the previous results, these parameters are obtained by using Cox's result on renewal theory. The main purpose of this paper is to present a self-contained approach for obtaining the diffusion parameters.Our approach is based on a central-limit theorem in the area of mathematical statistics.
