Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Non-intrusive parametric packet-layer model is required to monitor the quality of experience (QoE)during service. In VoIP (voice over IP) services, a framework for parametric packet-layer models has been standardized as ITU-T Recommendation P.564, and several models that conform to this recommendation are being used to evaluate QoE. On the other hand, little attention has been given to models for managing the QoE of IPTV services. We propose a parametric packet-layer model that estimates the video quality of mobile IPTV services by using quality parameters analyzed from IP packet header information. The results of quality estimation had sufficient accuracy for monitoring QoE of practical IPTV systems.
