Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In order to reveal the characteristic of haptic perception of stiffness, several psychophysical experiments were conducted. The results showed that elasticity was perceived not merely based on the terminal force or the amount of change divided by the force or based on the work of dynamics, but based on the process of participant's motion. This report examined the haptic perception model of elasticity and the validity of this model. |
