Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel small-size printed dual-slot antenna fed by a dual-offset coplanar wave guide (CPW) for UWB wireless system is proposed. The input impedance characteristic of this antenna is compared with that of a conventional single-slot antenna fed by a CPW and a single-slot antenna fed by a dual-offset CPW. It is shown that bandwidths of S_<11>≦-10 calculated by FDTD for the conventional single-slot antenna fed by a CPW, the single-s-lot antenna fed by a dual-offset CPW and the dual-slot antenna fed by a dual-offset CPW are about 13%, 75% and 112%, respectively. Furthermore, caluculated current distributions for resonant frequencies and measured and caluculated radiation patterns are also shown.
