Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper propses a scheme of direction-of-arrival shifting to resolve the problem of Q-MUSIC method for linear vector-sensor array. Q (quaternion) -MUSIC method is one of the representative algorithms for vector-sensor array using quaternion argebra. However, Q-MUSIC method has a problem that polarization parameters are difficult to be estimated for for linear arrays when the direction of arriaval is θ=0°or θ_1=-θ_2. This problem arises because of normalization and apprpximation of eigenvectors, where some elements approach to infinite in eigenvalue decomposition. In this paper, we propose a scheme of direction-of-arrival shifting to resolve the problem of Q-MUSIC method for linear vector-sensor array. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme gives better performance compared to the conventional one.
