Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed the reduced diameter Multi-Mode fiber that can withstand bending and the high density multi-fiber optical connector using MT connector. To realize easy to connect the optical fibers, we have examined the splicing technology without removing the coating of each fiber. This report presents that the structure of easy mechanical splicer using V-groove positioning method, and their various optical characteristics.
