Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In multiuser MIMO-BC (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output Broadcasting) system, user selection is important to achieve multiuser diversity. The optimal user selection algorithm is to try all combinations of users to find the user group to achieve the highest sum rate capacity. However, the calculation amount of the optimal algorithm is too large to implement. Thus, instead of the optimal algorithm, some suboptimal user selection algorithms were proposed based on semiorthogonality of user channel vectors. The objective of our research is to achieve higher sum rate capacity. For this objective, we propose a user selection algorithm that can improve the orthogonality of selected user group. We also apply a channel prediction technique to MIMO-BC system to get accurate channel information at the transmitter. Simulation results show that the proposed user selection algorithm achieves higher sum rate capacity than the conventional algorithm SUS algorithm. The calculation amount of the proposed algorithm increases compared to the SUS algorithm, it is still low compared to that of trying all the combinations.
