Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) using ethanol and bimetallic catalyst of Co-Mo by simple deposition method on silicon substrates at 850℃ were synthesized. This process made it possible to synthesis SWNTs without use of vacuum pump and hydrogen reducing agent in nitrogen environment using ultrasonic nebulizer. Similar result so far has not been reported under this method. Synthesis of SWNTs was found to be highly affected on the catalyst concentration on substrates. This technique suggests for the low cost rout of the synthesis of SWNTs.
