Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) [Panel Discussion] Cognitive Radio system is regarded as the great candidate to improve the effective usage of the radio resource. Especially, the cognitive radio system with the multi-transmission links approach has advantage of backward compatibility to existing radio systems. In the city center, the several wireless access services are provided to the same area; this multi-transmission links approach works to level the loads of them. On the other hand, with their intelligent suppression of radio interference, the cognitive radio links resolves the problem of mutual interference between the nodes of mesh networks. In this paper, we introduce the MAC sub-layer system for the cognitive radio system with the multi-transmission links. The effective and scalable method to exchange the radio environment information in order to select the collect wireless media between the nodes is presented and discussed as the network layer technology.
