Abstract(in English) This letter investigates inter-piconet interference in MB-OFDM. One of the techniques for collision avoidance in MB-OFDM is adaptive symbol skipping(ASS). This letter evaluates the probability of symbol collision and symbol skipping when the desired and interfering transmitters use ASS. It is shown that the proposed ASS scheme reduces the probability by 20%.
