Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Overhead to support IP mobility of nodes and networks is classified into two kinds. One is overhead with nodes communication itself such as tunneling and routing in the case of NEMO. Another is signaling overhead for address management of care-of addresses and home addresses in handover. In this paper, we focus on signaling overheads. Some signaling overheads are common in all architectures, and the others are depending on the architecture. In this paper we focus on our proposed architecture called as MAT (Mobile Support Architecture and Technologies) and evaluate signaling overheads in the case of mobility concentration of a lot of nodes and networks.
