Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Internet realize sharing several kinds of information in global scale. Recently, small nodes such as sensors are connected to the Internet. We can create useful information from collected those sensing data. For example, weather forecast information can be created with data of digital weather stations. We can also control several equipments including lights, air conditioners, and actuators of shades to manage energy of buildings. We started "Live E! Project" since 2005. This project aims to build platform to sharing environmental information to know current status of Living Earth. Project target includes following items: 1) developing applications with sensing data, 2) basic technologies to share small sensor data, 3) establish operation technologies for global scale sensor networks, and 4) education of science knowledge for young generation. In the project, we are discussing environmental problems including "Earth Warming" with collected sensor information. In this paper describes overview of project and current status.
