Overview of Green UT Campus Project with Advanced ICT Technology

Abstract(in English) The improvement and preservation of environment of our Earth and energy saving is our common and global agenda, that all the countries and all the people must collaborate to achieve this very difficult and challenging issue. We have a lot of R&D for energy saving for each components or devices, however, without efficient and effective operation of those equipments, the effective energy saving will be able to achieve. In other words, we must apply the ICT technology more effectively to achieve this goal. We are going to establish the R&D consortium, which have collaborative R&D to establish the intelligent facility management system with advanced ICT technologies. We pick up a 12 floor high R&D building located in Hongo Campus of The University of Tokyo. In this paper, we discuss the R&D activities, which we have achieved for this project, and the R&D direction, where this R&D consortium will work.
