Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the near future, the number of content generation devices will increase explosively thanks to the evolution in the field of input/output devices and CGM (Consumer Generated Media) tools. At the same time, users will wear communicating sensor devices wherever the users are, whenever it is and whatever they are doing. Under such circumstances, various contents will be generated, updated by the devices and moved at much higher frequency than they are. We propose architecture of a real-time information delivery system, and we propose a distributed directory scheme which combines the Push delivery of new information and the Pull searching, and takes the balance between them according to the proposed formula for delivering information without ruining the freshness of information in the assumed architecture. In order to clarify the characteristic of the proposed method, we evaluated it and existing well-known methods by simulation. The result shows that the proposed method has an equal or higher correct answer rate compared to the existing methods. However, the number of messages increases dramatically in the proposed method when the content update frequency becomes high.
