Abstract(in English) Leased line services, which have been composed of ATM networks, are so highly reliable that the services can guarantee availability, security and QoS. However, the maintenance cost of the ATM leased line networks is increasing, because the networks become superannuated and difficult to supply its components. Therefore, careers desire to replace the ATM networks with low-cost packet networks. In this paper, consequently we propose the packet networks design to assure high reliability equal to the ATM network, specially QoS issue.
