Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In my former report (TL2002-24), a lexical meaning of verbs was analyzed in detail, and verbs were classified systematically. A layered structure was seen in the classification table. A thesaurus shows a high-ranking word and the subordinate position word of a noun. It is well known that the syllogism is performed based on the hierarchical relationship of nouns given in a thesaurus. In my former report, on the other hand, it was pointed out that a kind of logic is able to be performed based on the hierarchy of verbs. In the present report, hierarchical classification of verbs is used to construct a system that helps the user to input the verb to a computer, and helps the association of ideas of the user. A chatterbot of the corpus base is constructed by using the system.
