| Abstract(in English) | Since resources for the increasing number of Japanese language learners in Slovenia are still scarce, a Japanese-Slovene parallel corpus was built as a resource for student users and for editors of the Japanese-Slovene learners' dictionary being developed at the University of Ljubljana, by using translated texts accumulated at the University of Ljubljana Japanese studies program and gathered from the web. The present article presents the corpus building procedure, the characteristics of the parallel texts collected, and the possibilities for its exploitation. |
