Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The goal of this research is to study an expression technique which creates a feeling as if the virtual tool became a part of body when a user exploits the tool. In the current research, we investigated bodily dynamics while using a virtual tool. Therefore, we focused attention on myoelectric activity that reflects subtle behavior of user's body, and developed myoelectric activity measurement system. The system was integrated into a virtual tool interface system we developed previously. Experiment results showed that the system measured Electro Mechanical Delay and characteristics of myoelectric signals while using a physical tool and a virtual tool.
