Application of 3D Aerial Drawing System to Dance Therapy

Abstract(in English) Functional exercise support is performed in rehabilitation institution and psychiatry hospital. But it has a problem with the durability, and it is necessary to create voluntary body exercise. Therefore this paper describes new supporting technique utilizing the 3D drawing system, which user draws virtual lines for three dimensions in the real world, in dance therapy. We have developed the technique, that is imaged a mirror in the dance studio, to project the image which composed of a drawing line based on a motion of the user's body and appearance of the user on screen. And as a result of investigating an effect for the patient in the dance therapy in the psychiatry hospital, this technique motivate to brings out the physical exercise of the patient, and has possibility to circulate the activity to move and express voluntarily and the passivity that movement was brought out by a drawing line.
