Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Detection for two kinds of objects based on similar features and non-similar features is realized using the object detection method with Haar-like feature and AdaBoost algorithm proposed by Viola and Jones, and the detection tree structure proposed by Lienhart. Problem is detection time increase of common detecting block which detect two kinds of objects at once. To reduce the process time, we introduce new Haar-Like feature and new criteria in the cascade classifier generation. Furthermore, we improved the detector tree structure by introducing the separation block which distinguishes two kinds of objects. The proposed detector which introduce these three methods, can reduce the detection time about 50%, compared with the conventional method.
