Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We constructed an individual authentication system with three-layered neural networks, where voice was used as a biometrics. The date of voice were pre-processed by fast furrier transform (FFT). We studied the effect of pronunciation on performance of the system From the results, we found that the performance of the system was dependent on the kinds of pronunciation and that the pronunciation "a-" was optimum for the individual authentication system. Therefore, the system is thought to be useful for an individual authentication.
