A Study of Design Quality Evaluation Metrics for UML Model

Abstract(in English) In software development, objective quality evaluation and improvement of UML model are important. In this paper, we propose evaluation model of object-oriented metrics, and construction technique of design-defect judgment model that uses proposed metrics and its confidence interval. We set confidence interval of each metrics for the UML model designed by students, and constructed the design-defect judgment model. As a result, we could construct the high-precision judgment model about some design-defect and confirmed the effectiveness of design quality evaluation of proposed metrics.
