Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The route guidance of a car navigation system based on Augmented Reality has been proposed to improve providing necessary information more quickly and correctly for the driver. In this paper, we propose a method which selects and displays the best shot chosen from the image taken by the camera on car and an easily understandable design on the display as the effective information presentation on the route guidance based on Augmented Reality. we developed the route guidance based on Augmented Reality and made an evaluation experiment which compares our system to current car navigation system. In the result, we confirmed features of our system.
