Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Research into creative thinking-support tools and communication is commonly focused on how to develop and share ideas between participants or with others. In this paper, in order to evaluate the potential variations developmental directions for the visual "●" Prompter Message System (PM-System), we explore a Prompter Message Simulation (PM-Simulation), that uses a printed paper version of visual "●" prompter image patterns (VP-patterns), and allows not only writing texts but also freehand drawing and writing. Experiments have been conducted and analyzed into methods of stimulating the thought process, inspiring ideas, creative and imaginative thinking and enrich self-expression. From the results, a tendency towards inspiring creative ideas by participants has been observed.
