Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We investigated the function of human eye-gaze perception and control system. It is known that the looker's head-orientation and the lighting orientation become the major factors about the gaze perception. The characteristic of the gaze perception and the eyeball control for the position of where "you are looking at me" was examined by using three dimensional CG face model. The result suggested that the perceived gaze direction was strongly affected by the head-orientation as we found in the previous studies. In addition, it was shown that the position where people feel "you are looking at me" was not at the center between both eyes but at the one of the two eyes.
