Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are developing an automatic speech recognition system used for information assurance for hearing-impaired people. This system is especially useful in situations in which a third person, including a sign-language interpreter or a note-taker, cannot support hearing-impaired people. In this paper, we analyzed the system from the viewpoint of mental workload of hearing-impaired people. Accordingly, we knew the following. (1) The proposal method shows how misrecognitions that are replaced with correct words, which are input by a keyboard, are better than the past method in which correct words are displayed under the recognition results. (2) There are two proposal methods. The evaluation is divided into methods in which the recognition results are displayed before and after the misrecognitions are replaced with correct words.
