Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important for cerebrovascular disease patients to handle brakes and footrests of the manual wheelchair appropriately, in order to avoid falling down from it. Sensors are implemented to detect the timing of handling brakes and footrests. Lights are emitted from display devices and voice messages are given to call for attention when they are misused, and to indicate what you should do step by step to ensure user's safety.
