Abstract(in English) Optical bistable responses were investigated under a stationary condition on AlGaAs-based 2D-photonic crystal cavities with Al-fractions of 0.16 and 0.27. Nonlinearities caused by two-photon absorption make dominant contributions to the index change, though two-photon absorption is sufficiently weak. Thermal resistance of a sample chip has a significant influence on the competition among the nonlinearities involved.
