Abstract(in English) | The transmission properties for the multilayer which is composed of the linear and nonlinear dielectric layer are examined numerically. For the frequency near the edge of a photonic band gap, it is shown that transmission properties depend on the intensity of the electric field. This phenomenon has the possibility of the switching. Also, we examine the transmission properties for the structure which is composed of the nonlinear or linear defects. FDTD method with the periodic boundary condition and PML absorbing boundary condition is utilized. |
