Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The effective constitutive parameters of anisotropic metamaterials composed of three-dimensional periodic array of metallic thin-wire inclusions are studied. The quasi-static Lorentz method is applied where the contributions of multipole moments are considered in the polarizabilities to the order of the electric quadrupoles. Numerical results will be presented in the technical meeting. Comparizon of the effective parameters with and without the contributions of the quadrupole moments are available for the cases that all inclusions are metallic thin-wire helices with an identical handedness i.e. the anisotropic chiral media.
