Abstract(in English) | Vanadylphthalocyanine (VOPc) nano-crystal is prepared by molecular beam epitaxy method on a KBr substrate under a certain preparatory condition. Highly ordered VOPc nano-crystal have strongly attracted in attention as potential applications in nanotechnology such as nano-transistors and nano-optical switches. The preparing process of nano-crystal on the KBr substrate were investigated by varying the KBr substrate temperature from 175℃ to 225℃. Highly oriented and aligned nano-crystals are prepared on the KBr substrate with controlling the substrate temperature. We suggest that highly oriented and aligned nano-crystals are formed on the KBr substrate with which VOPc molecules thermally diffuse and VOPc grains merge on the KBr substrate. |
